Mission Statement

The Charlotte Clippers AAU boys basketball team is dedicated to giving something back to Charlotte and the surrounding community as we build a solid program designed to develop today's youth and promote responsibilty, sportsmanship, and the importance of education in sports. We understand everyone has dreams of success and our intentions are to construct a path for those individuals with the ambition and drive of being successful. We use basketball as the platform because it teaches teamwork, leadership and discipline. Understanding and living by these core values can only assure one's place in our society.

Coach Parker

Two are better than one because they have a good reward......and though a man may prevail against one who is alone, two will withstand him - a threefold cord is not quickly broken.....Ecc 4. This defines what I believe is the spirit of a team and how I coach basketball. Five players on the court with one common goal and having each others backs. This philosophy was ingrained as a scholarship football player at East Carolina University and has carried forward to coaching young men. Teaching young men the game of basketball and having them integrate that into playing is very rewarding and explains why I coach. Impacting young men positively not only in basketball but in life is a passion.
